DIVE INTO THE FUTURE OF AI PURPOSE & CHATGPT!

OpenAI ChatGPT Lab is designed for campers 14 to 16 years old and instructed by Christopher Crevling, a seasoned, twenty year professional in the field of software development and business management. During the five day offering, campers, turned AI programers, will deep dive into OpenAI and ChatGPT.

OpenAI is an AI research and deployment company headquartered in San Francisco, CA. founded in 2015, originally a non-profit organization it shifted to a for-profit business around 2019. More recently, Microsoft has made investments of $1 billion in 2019 and upwards of $10 billion in early 2023 after OpenAI launched its AI model ChatGPT.

The company’s mission ‘is to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity.’ Most notably, OpenAI ‘trained a model called ChatGPT which interacts in a conversational way. The dialogue format makes it possible for ChatGPT to answer follow-up questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests.’

Throughout the camp week students will explore the world of AI, and gain an understanding of Natural Language Processing, AI Projects and Purpose, and deep dive into the complexities of ChatGPT and its more current versions.
